Today’s encouraging word continues in the vein of prior words, as God talks to more than one prophetic voice of the coming year 2009.  Be encouraged as you discover more of God’s Word spoken to a variety of people, all proven to hear God’s voice.  May you continue to earnestly hear for yourself, seek God for confirmation of these words.

Jim Wies: “It’s a New Day. It’s a New Hour!”

“It’s a new day; it’s a new hour!” Many of us have been hearing this declared, or have sensed it in the Spirit. But one of the things we need to understand is the nature of prophetic terminology. While this is not an exact science, I have discovered that a new hour, prophetically speaking, is usually from three to five years in length. And a new day seems to be from 10 to 20 years long.

Another interesting fact about prophetic terminology is that the Scriptures tell us that God’s version of a new day begins in the dark. When God created the heavens and the earth, He declared that “the evening and the morning were the first day.” So His day starts with an evening, or a period of darkness.

With that in mind, I believe we HAVE stepped into a new day. I believe it began about a year ago, but most people still feel like they are pretty much in the dark. A Scriptural example of that was when the baby Jesus was born in Bethlehem. That was not only the beginning of a new day but a whole new dispensation; yet only a handful of people knew it for at least 12 years, and it took 33 years for the reality of it to be fully known.

The year 2008 was a time of darkness and confusion for much of the Body of Christ. The winds of change have been blowing, but it is yet to be seen what the full implications will be . You might even say it this way: The landscape around us has changed, but during the dark part of the day, it is hard to make out what is in our surroundings. Fortunately though, as the dawn comes, there comes a progressive clarity.

“But the path of the righteous is like the light of dawn, that shines brighter and brighter until the full day.” Proverbs 4:18

So, we HAVE stepped into a new day. This IS a new day, and our need is to persevere to see the dawn and the full light of day. While 2008 was a time of darkness and confusion for many, I believe there is coming fresh clarity in 2009.

Seeing Jesus as a Refiner’s Fire

The first time Jesus appeared, most religious people of the day missed Him because they were looking for a conquering king (based on their selective reading of prophetic Scriptures). But instead, He came as a suffering servant (also found in the prophetic Scriptures). Next time, He will appear as the Conquering King, while most are still expecting Him to be the suffering servant. The first time He came, He was the Lamb of God. But now He is about to be revealed as the Lion of the Tribe of Judah.

We have a Savior who loves us with an everlasting love but who is, at the same time, a refining fire. It was said of Him in Malachi:

“‘And the Lord, whom you seek, will suddenly come to His temple, even the Messenger of the covenant, in whom you delight. Behold, He is coming,’ says the LORD of hosts. ‘But who can endure the day of His coming? And who can stand when He appears? For He is like a refiner’s fire and like launderers’ soap. He will sit as a refiner and a purifier of silver; He will purify the sons of Levi, and purge them as gold and silver, that they may offer to the LORD an offering in righteousness.'” Malachi 3:1-3

An honest and full examination of Jesus will have to show Him to be both grand and dreadful. He is grand to those who love and put their trust in Him but, at the same time, dreadful to His adversaries. He is a loving God and a gracious Savior, but He is also a consuming fire, as is plainly spoken in Hebrews 12:28-29: “Therefore, since we are receiving a Kingdom which cannot be shaken, let us have grace, by which we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear. For our God is a consuming fire.”

The fact that our Lord is a dreaded warrior is great when we consider His vengeance against our adversaries. But one of the Scriptures that should strike fear into our hearts is the section of Hebrews, Chapter Ten, where we see a warning for those who despise the Lord’s gift of grace.

“Therefore, brethren, having boldness to enter the Holiest by the Blood of Jesus, by a new and living way which He consecrated for us, through the veil, that is, His flesh, and having a High Priest over the house of God, let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water.

“Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful. And let us consider one another in order to stir up love and good works, not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching.

“For if we sin willfully after we have received the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins, but a certain fearful expectation of judgment, and fiery indignation which will devour the adversaries. Anyone who has rejected Moses’ law dies without mercy on the testimony of two or three witnesses.

“Of how much worse punishment, do you suppose, will he be thought worthy who has trampled the Son of God underfoot, counted the Blood of the covenant by which He was sanctified a common thing, and insulted the Spirit of grace? For we know Him who said, ‘Vengeance is Mine, I will repay,’ says the Lord. And again, ‘The Lord will judge His people.’ It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.” Hebrews 10:19-31

The Lord is About to Show Himself as a Man of War

“Now I saw Heaven opened, and behold, a white horse. And He who sat on him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He judges and makes war.” Revelation 19:11

“The LORD will go forth like a warrior, He will arouse His zeal like a man of war. He will utter a shout, yes, He will raise a war cry (King James Version says “roar”). He will prevail against His enemies.” Isaiah 42:13

The prophet Joel, whose prophetic words apply directly to the end times, shows a “last days” Jesus roaring as a Lion who calls His saints to war as well.

“The LORD also will roar from Zion, and utter His voice from Jerusalem; the heavens and earth will shake; but the LORD will be a shelter for His people, and the strength of the children of Israel. So you shall know that I am the LORD your God, dwelling in Zion My holy mountain.” Joel 3:16-17

Joel 2:28-29 describes the days we are currently in: “And it shall come to pass afterward that I will pour out My Spirit on all flesh; your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions. And also on My menservants and on My maidservants I will pour out My Spirit in those days.”

It is in this context that we begin Joel, Chapter Three, so we need to see Joel 3 as a very significant Scripture for us as we come to the end of the age. It describes the happenings that will be going on “in those days and at that time” (Joel 3:1). We see that this will be a significant time of battle as the Lord comes forth as our Lion, our mighty Warrior. And here we see Him calling us to the battle as well.

“Proclaim this among the nations: ‘Prepare for war! Wake up the mighty men, let all the men of war draw near, let them come up. Beat your plowshares into swords and your pruning hooks into spears; let the weak say, ‘I am strong.’ Assemble and come, all you nations, and gather together all around. Cause Your mighty ones to go down there, O LORD. Let the nations be wakened, and come up to the Valley of Jehoshaphat; for there I will sit to judge all the surrounding nations. Put in the sickle, for the harvest is ripe.” Joel 3:9-13

The Lord and His Kingdom

“He (Lord Jesus Christ) who is the blessed and only Sovereign, the King of kings and Lord of lords; who alone possesses immortality and dwells in unapproachable light, whom no man has seen or can see. To Him be honor and eternal dominion! Amen” 1 Timothy 6:14-16

“Then Jesus went about all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the Gospel of the Kingdom, and healing every sickness and every disease among the people.” Matthew 9:35

“Then He called His twelve disciples together and gave them power and authority over all demons, and to cure diseases. He sent them to preach the Kingdom of God and to heal the sick.” Luke 9:1-2

The message that Jesus preached was the Gospel of the Kingdom of God. A simple definition of a kingdom is a domain where a king rules. The Kingdom of God implies a King, and Jesus is that King. Simply put, wherever Jesus has rule, there the Kingdom has come. Not only did Jesus preach the Kingdom of God, but His disciples were instructed to preach the Kingdom. In fact, Jesus connected the accomplishment of the Church’s mission to the full declaration of the Gospel of the Kingdom to all the nations as a witness before the end will come (see Matthew 24:14).

David caught a glimpse of this King and wrote of Him in Psalm 2:

“Why do the nations rage, and the people plot a vain thing? The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the LORD and against His Anointed, saying, ‘Let us break Their bonds in pieces and cast away Their cords from us’…

“…’Yet I have set My King on My holy hill of Zion.’ I will declare the decree: The LORD has said to Me, ‘You are My Son, today I have begotten You. Ask of Me, and I will give You the nations for Your inheritance, and the ends of the earth for Your possession…’

“…Now therefore, be wise, O kings; be instructed, you judges of the earth. Serve the LORD with fear, and rejoice with trembling. Kiss the Son, lest He be angry, and you perish in the way, when His wrath is kindled but a little. Blessed are all those who put their trust in Him.” Psalm 2:1-3, 6-8, 10-12

Daniel saw Him in a night vision:

“I was watching in the night visions, and behold, One like the Son of Man, coming with the clouds of Heaven! He came to the Ancient of Days, and they brought Him near before Him. Then to Him was given dominion and glory and a Kingdom, that all peoples, nations, and languages should serve Him. His dominion is an everlasting dominion, which shall not pass away, and His Kingdom the one which shall not be destroyed.” Daniel 7:13-14

At His ascension, Jesus said, “All authority in Heaven and on Earth has been given to Me” (Matthew 28:18). The implications of that are staggering. His supreme rule extends over all. He rules over space. He rules over time and eternity. He rules over nature. And, although there are pockets of rebellion currently remaining in the hearts of men, His rule shall eventually and inevitably extend to every individual, for Scripture states in Philippians 2:10-11, “…that at the name of Jesus every knee will bow…and that every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.”

Lord of All

Scripture points to the fact that a belief about Jesus as Savior is not the same as a surrender to Jesus as Lord. In fact, one very grave problem within much of western Christianity has become an “easy believism” that is void of repentance and Lordship. That is, faith without repentance; salvation without sanctification; mental assent without life-changing surrender. He is not a Savior whom we have the option of establishing as Lord of our lives; rather, He must be acknowledged as Lord, then He will save us.

In our zeal to be theologically proper regarding the grand theme of grace, modern Christianity has often been guilty of presenting a “Gospel” of faith without Lordship, a cheap grace that’s not really grace but licentiousness (which means absence of restraint, indecency, wantonness) – note Jude 1:4: “For certain persons have crept in unnoticed, those who were long beforehand marked out for this condemnation, ungodly persons who turn the grace of our God into licentiousness and deny our only Master and Lord, Jesus Christ.”

Costly grace recognizes the call to discipleship that Jesus expects in light of our redemption. Christ gave all for us and expects nothing less in return. Our relationship with Him is the “treasure in a field” for which a man sells all he has to purchase; or the costly pearl a man gives all to acquire. It is the call of Jesus for which a disciple leaves his nets, forsakes all, and follows. Such Gospel demands total surrender. It says, “If you receive Me as Lord, I will save you.” It is costly because it costs us our life, but is redemptive because in exchange we gain that which is true life eternal.

We find Jesus introduced as Lord and referred to as Lord close to 3,000 times in the New Testament. Jesus demonstrated His Lordship – His rulership over creation – by turning water to wine, through bread and fish multiplied, and even through His authority over the elements. He commanded the wind and waves, He exerted authority over demons and the domain of darkness, sickness, and disease, etc.

He was the Lord God who now had interposed His presence into the human condition in the form of Jesus, the Son of God. The Scripture indicates that Jesus came to intervene, and through His coming, bought back that one last, lost domain, the wayward heart of man, thus being established as Lord of all, once and for all.

This final dimension of His Lordship is clearly stated in Acts 2:36: “Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly that God has made this Jesus, whom you crucified, both Lord and Christ.” and… Philippians 2:5-11: “Christ Jesus, who, although He existed in the form of God, did not regard equality with God a thing to be grasped, but emptied Himself, taking the form of a bond-servant, and being made in the likeness of men. Being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself by becoming obedient to the point of death, even death on a cross. For this reason also, God highly exalted Him, and bestowed on Him the name which is above every name” – THE NAME OF JESUS CHRIST, THE LORD!

This final establishment of Jesus as Lord by the Father – even over the hearts of every man – gives the conclusion of the matter. He is Lord of all. We are all destined to acknowledge it by the confession of our tongue and the bending of our knee. Acknowledging Him as Lord implies putting faith in His saving power while giving Him right to rule over our lives. It is a Gospel that includes both repentance and faith. The fact is that everyone will acknowledge Him as Lord. He is Lord!

Today’s word from the Lord is from Rick Joyner, an encouraging word about unity in the body of Christ. This unity will transform, for as Rick puts it, “…if just a few thousand Christians came into unity and began to live with the resolve and willingness to sacrifice for their cause like the Bolsheviks did for theirs, the impact for light and truth would be so great that many nations would be transformed…”

May you be encouraged as you read the full article from one who has heard God talking.

Rick Joyner: “2009 will be a Year of Extraordinary Unity”

The year 2009 will bring extraordinary growth in faith and peace for those who serve the Lord. One major reason for this is because it will also be a year of extraordinary unity. There will be a coming together in the Body of Christ this year in ways that we have probably not seen in our lifetime. The result is going to be a release of even more power and light, which will result in ever-increasing faith and peace with His people.

The Church: Unity and Harmony

We have been covering ways that the Church is beginning to rise up to fulfill its last-day purpose of preparing the way for the Lord. Two primary ways that this is accomplished is by preaching the Gospel of the Kingdom throughout the world and building a highway for the Kingdom as we see in Isaiah 40.

In a basic way, the Church is called to be this highway. It is called to be a representative of the coming King and a reflection of His Kingdom upon which people enter and travel toward their ultimate destiny. One of the aspects of the Kingdom that we see in Biblical prophecy is that after the Kingdom comes, the earth will again come into harmony to the degree that even the lions will lie down with lambs, children will be able to play with cobras, and no one will hurt anyone else. Therefore, one of the basic ways that we can expect the Church to begin reflecting the Kingdom will be by her unity and harmony.

As we also see in Biblical prophecy, the world will fall into increasing confusion and conflict at the end of this age, so the Church will be moving in the exact opposite direction of the world in many basic ways. As fear increases in the world, the Church will be growing in faith and peace. One reason for this will be the increase of unity. Faith gets multiplied with unity. That is why the Lord said in Matthew 18:19, “…if two of you agree on earth about anything that they may ask, it shall be done for them by My Father who is in Heaven.”

The word that is translated “agree” here means much more than just intellectually assenting to something; rather, it implies a deep heart unity. We can derive from His teachings several reasons why He requires faith to be unified with another in order to move in extraordinary ways. One is that the unity of His people is one of the primary issues on the Lord’s heart, which we see in His prayer in John 17. Another is that God gives His grace to the humble, and it takes all of the qualities of humility to come into unity with someone else.

Some teach that Matthew 18:19 is really saying that if we come into unity with the Lord and ask anything, then it will be done for us. Of course, that would be true, but this verse does say to “agree on earth,” which makes it quite clear that He is saying this agreement must be with another person.

In Genesis 11:6, the Lord describes the power of unity when speaking of what is happening with those who are seeking to build the tower of Babel: “And the Lord said, ‘Behold, they are one people, and they all have the same language. And this is what they began to do, and now nothing which they purpose to do will be impossible for them.'”

Unity does have that kind of power. As we discussed earlier, even a small degree of unity with a small group of people can have extraordinary impact. Karl Marx taught that just a tiny fraction of passionate people would control the rest who were indifferent. Lenin then proved this by taking over Russia, a nation of millions, with just 20,000 Bolsheviks. Likewise, if just a few thousand Christians came into unity and began to live with the resolve and willingness to sacrifice for their cause like the Bolsheviks did for theirs, the impact for light and truth would be so great that many nations would be transformed.

Remember what the officials of one of the most powerful empires of the world said when Paul and Silas limped into their city: “Those who have turned the world upside down have now come to us!” (see Acts 17) That was just two people!

This year we are going to begin to see extraordinary results from Christians who begin to grow in unity. Resolve that you will be a part of it. Over the next few weeks we are going to address some of the practical ways that we will see this happen. To prepare for this in your own heart, begin to pray for your fellow Christians, especially for any who have disappointed you or wounded you in the past. Pray for them to be filled with the Spirit of God, to know His peace, and to grow in His faith. If there is anything that you can do to bring reconciliation to any degree, do it.

As we have just watched history unfold with the swearing in of the 44th President of the United States, this article sums up our prayer’s direction — that God talks to the new President in all his decision making for the future of the United States. Here’s the article:

by Aimee Herd/Op-ed : Jan 20, 2009 : Breaking Christian News

“…this moment—unprecedented in our nation’s history—goes far above personal views…”

All through last year’s Presidential campaign—on both sides of the spectrum—feelings ran deep. And I daresay those passionate opinions have not abated much as President-elect Obama’s Inauguration approaches.

President-elect Obama on SundayBut, as I watched Obama’s speech this weekend, with the backdrop of the Lincoln Memorial, it struck me that this moment—unprecedented in our nation’s history—goes so far above personal views… (Photo: CBN News)

For me, and hopefully for many, the event of Barack Obama’s Presidential Inauguration transcends political party and leaning… it is about healing. And the days after it; about prayer.

I realize, being white, that I cannot fully grasp the extraordinarily historical moment—when Obama is sworn in as the first black President of the United States—as one of my black fellow-citizens will. Nor will I experience, to that extent, the incredible achievement they must feel in their hearts.

But its significance is not lost on me. Whether or not I voted for President-elect Obama is not the issue, because the attitude at which this country has finally arrived, in being willing to elect a black man to its highest office, has been far too long in coming. It makes me feel very grateful to my parents for raising me with a true respect for all people regardless of color, religion or nationality, which is just Biblical common sense!

And so I ask, both those who voted for Obama and those who didn’t, can we—if just for a day—lay down the political debate? Can we look beyond the labels of Republican, Democrat or Independent? Can we be joyful that America, on its highest level, is at long last breaking through an ugly barrier of ignorance and hate, and much like the day those cold cement chunks of wall fell in Berlin; hands kept apart are now joining together?

I hope each one of us, regardless of political persuasion, will pray for the continued protection of this man who has not let the prejudices of some keep him from pressing on to fulfill this calling in which he believes. Let’s pray for protection for him and for his family.

As Christians, we are called to pray for those in office—no matter who they are. So let us pray in the days ahead for God’s direction for this new President, as he leads this country we so love.

National Sanctity of Human Life Day, 2009

The following text is a proclamation by the President of the United States of America.  The link to the original article is at the bottom.  May today be given the recognition the President asks for.

A Proclamation by the President of the United States of America

All human life is a gift from our Creator that is sacred, unique, and worthy of protection. On National Sanctity of Human Life Day, our country recognizes that each person, including every person waiting to be born, has a special place and purpose in this world. We also underscore our dedication to heeding this message of conscience by speaking up for the weak and voiceless among us.

The most basic duty of government is to protect the life of the innocent. My Administration has been committed to building a culture of life by vigorously promoting adoption and parental notification laws, opposing Federal funding for abortions overseas, encouraging teen abstinence, and funding crisis pregnancy programs.

In 2002, I was honored to sign into law the Born-Alive Infants Protection Act, which extends legal protection to children who survive an abortion attempt.

I signed legislation in 2003 to ban the cruel practice of partial-birth abortion, and that law represents our commitment to building a culture of life in America.

Also, I was proud to sign the Unborn Victims of Violence Act of 2004, which allows authorities to charge a person who causes death or injury to a child in the womb with a separate offense in addition to any charges relating to the mother.

America is a caring nation, and our values should guide us as we harness the gifts of science. In our zeal for new treatments and cures, we must never abandon our fundamental morals. We can achieve the great breakthroughs we all seek with reverence for the gift of life.

The sanctity of life is written in the hearts of all men and women. On this day and throughout the year, we aspire to build a society in which every child is welcome in life and protected in law. We also encourage more of our fellow Americans to join our just and noble cause. History tells us that with a cause rooted in our deepest principles and appealing to the best instincts of our citizens, we will prevail.

NOW, THEREFORE, I, GEORGE W. BUSH, President of the United States of America, by virtue of the authority vested in me by the Constitution and laws of the United States, do hereby proclaim January 18, 2009, as National Sanctity of Human Life Day.

I call upon all Americans to recognize this day with appropriate ceremonies and to underscore our commitment to respecting and protecting the life and dignity of every human being.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand this fifteenth day of January, in the year of our Lord two thousand nine, and of the Independence of the United States of America the two hundred and thirty-third.

Does God speak in 2009.

Today’s message is not to be taken lightly. Kim Clement has proven himself to be one who hears God, and speaks it forth with music and singing. Here, his words of prophecy for 2009 speak of restoration, revival, and yes, unusual miracles. Read this article, and browse Kim’s other products. Most of all, be encouraged, God speaks.

Kim Clement: “I Hear the Sounds of Restoration, Revival and Unusual Miracles!”

Prophesied December 31, 2008 – San Jose, California:

This is the End of a Seven Year Period of War

The Spirit of the Lord would speak to you tonight. “Is it not possible for Me to just utter one word and everything will change? They shall say, ‘Why is it there is a group of people celebrating when the prognosticators have told them this could be the worst time of your life?’ What do I say about it,” says the Lord?

“This is the end of a seven year period. This is the end of a seven year period of war. This is the end of a seven year period of disdain, and” God says, “at the end of this night will be the end of the seven year period, of the seven lean years. And then suddenly there shall come upon you seven fat cows! And the lean years will not consume nor eat the fat years. The lean cows will not consume the fat that is coming upon you. No, it is the end of war; it is the end of famine. How is this possible,” says the Lord?

The Spirit of the Lord says, “Raise up your hands, open up your mouths.” There are thousands of people watching right now by Internet all over the world, waiting to hear what the word of the Lord is.

God says, “They will say there is life, scientists will say they found life on the planets, but,” God said, “it shall be proof once again of the existence of the Kingdom of God. I will invade science, I will bring from your earth cures for diseases. Angels are coming to this nation, to the nations of the Earth to bring the light.

“You have asked for a prophet, and,” God said, “I have rescued so many of you; I have rescued your families. Some of you have not understood My ways, but,” the Spirit of the Lord says, “get ready, for this shall be known, the new year shall be known as the year of festivities, the year of festivities. And they say, ‘Why would this be the year of festivities? There is so much going wrong.'” But God said, “No, for the Kingdom of God is appearing and it shall be known as the shadow of light, for I am going to bring an unusual light into My Church, into My Kingdom, on this Earth.”

And God says, “Even the shadow of Peter struck the sick and they were healed. And,” God said, “what I’m going to send is not another revival, but,” the Spirit of God said, “it shall be so unique, and so unusual that this manifestation that shall take place shall happen through a mere shadow, the shadow of light. For,” God said, “you have watched how I have turned things around. Now as you enter into the New Year I shall bring forth upon you festivities, rejoicing. Listen, for there shall be a death by the year 2010, and it shall be known as the death of debt,” says the Lord of Hosts!

God said, “There is a mountain that I’m about to give to My people that will give them access into every arena in life. But I need somebody like Caleb that will lift their hands and say, ‘I am not afraid to take the mountain.'”

God is Opening a Door that No Man Can Shut

It’s the end of year 2008, and a door is about to shut, and a brand new door is about to open that no man can shut. God is opening a door that no man can shut.

“Throughout this building, throughout the Earth, for those that would receive, for those that would receive,” God said, “I’m opening a door that no man can shut.” God said, “Tonight, do not take lightly He who holds the key, who holds the key of David.”

The mystery of God is being opened up. God said, “This is the end day, this is the end time; you will do greater than the great cloud of witnesses that surrounds you. No man shall stand against those who I have selected. No man shall light a fire without the revelation of the Fourth Man. I’m about to show Myself favorably in science and from your soil, America, and three other nations; they shall discover, discover, discover and cancer shall no longer be a force of any threat to mankind.”

Many of you watching right now, say, “Kim, I’m being engulfed, I’m being raptured into something.” God’s told me to tell you: “I’ve given you a key, given you a key to take away from Me what I’ve held in My hand for so long – it’s just for you. I’m holding in My hand what you must take from Me, and I’ve held it in My hand for such a time as this.”

Prophesied January 2, 2009 – San Jose, California:

I Hear the Sound of Abundance

We are taking, just like the Day of Pentecost, when there was a sound of a mighty rushing wind. That sound must be released again. Why? To captivate the unbeliever, the agnostic, the atheist, the scientist, the economist, the socialist, the capitalist. God says, “It is time for Me to capture the attention. There is a sound,” says the Spirit of God, “therefore receive it tonight. Open your mouth and pray and receive it.”

We are capturing something. I am a prophet, I must capture something. This afternoon when I was praying I knew God was going to do what He did.

He told Ahab – Ahab was the king – and when the drought had come to an end, He said to Ahab, “Go up, eat and drink, for there is the sound of the abundance of rain.” There was no evidence, no rain, but at the word of the prophet and acting on just one thing – the sound of abundance – Ahab went to eat and drink as if there were no famine, there were no drought.

There was no cloud in the sky, there was no evidence of rain, but Ahab went and acted because the prophet said, “Go and do what you would do in great prosperity. Eat and drink as if there was plenty of water and plenty of food.” And Ahab went and he ate. And Elijah went and sat down and told his servant, “Go towards the sea.” The servant came back and said, “There is nothing.” But Elijah said, “I hear the sound of abundance.”

There are literally thousands of people watching us on the Internet, joining us in this room: “What is the prophet saying?” The prophet is saying: I hear the sound of an abundance. Some of you are saying, “We have no evidence. The only evidence we have is the news media telling us there is a recession.” God said, “Which kingdom is controlling you? Which kingdom is dictating to you? Which kingdom is telling you this?”

Ahab, go and eat, go and drink. The king, based on the prophet saying, “I hear the sound,” acted and took action and began to act as if there was no famine. The servant went and looked twice, three times, four times, five times – not a trace of abundance, not a trace of rain. Sixth time, the end of his carnal journey.

We have come to the end of a carnal journey. We have come to the end of our season of war, we have come to the end of the season of drought. And yet you say, “How can this be? What they are telling us is contrary to what you tell us, prophet.”

I Hear the Sound of Unusual Miracles

But God is not speaking to those who are deaf; He is speaking to those who have ears to hear what the Spirit has to say. I hear the sound of abundance, I hear the sound of the miraculous, and I hear the sound of unusual miracles. Don’t harden your heart. Do not harden your heart and say, “This will not happen because it’s been spoken before.”

God said, “This is the season and this is the time.” And God said, “What does the prophet hear?” The prophet hears the sound of miraculous, the sound of restoration, the sound of revival, the sound of unusual miracles, the sound of creative miracles, the sound of God-is-what-He-is! I hear the sound of abundance!

You are going to hear the word of the Lord in spite of what the enemy says. There’s a lady lying in a hospital right now and she’s to have major surgery and God is replacing her organs. Even though medical science will come in and make discoveries this year, and your soil will offer the greatest miracles, God is going to impact this world with the most unusual miracles that have ever taken place.

Kim, what are you doing to us? Giving you the Spirit, giving you the Kingdom. When David played on his harp, demons lifted from King Saul. Do you realize that tonight, possibly in your household, in your work – that where a demonic power has rested upon the head to stop your progress and to stop your future and to stop your promotion, that tonight possibly that force is being lifted because of our “Davidic” praise?
